Dr. Kengphong Tangarunsanti Joins “Wellness for Healthy Aging through Research and Innovation” Seminar

On May 28, 2026, Dr. Kengphong Tangarunsanti, Director of Chersery Home International Hospital for the Elderly and Rehabilitation Center, was honored to participate and deliver a lecture at the “Wellness for Healthy Aging through Research and Innovation” event. The event was organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) in collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) at Tara Hill Hotel, Uthai Thani Province.

The event aimed to promote a proactive elderly healthcare model at the community level by integrating scientific knowledge, healthcare technology, and innovation to enhance the quality of life for older adults and support Thailand’s transition into a complete aging society.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Wiparat De-Ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand, and Mr. Padet Nuipree, President of the Uthai Thani Provincial Administrative Organization, alongside healthcare professionals, academics, Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital (SHPH) staff, and Village Health Volunteers from across Uthai Thani Province.

The program focused on strengthening the capabilities of local healthcare personnel through proactive health screening, fall risk assessments, osteoporosis screening, personalized rehabilitation programs, nutritional guidance, and age-appropriate health promotion activities for older adults.

In addition, the Chersery Home International team shared expertise on recreational rehabilitation programs for older adults, covering physical, mental, and holistic well-being. These initiatives aim to support healthy aging and prepare Thai society for a “100-Year Life Society” with improved quality of life and happiness.
