Chiang Mai, Thailand — Chersery Home International has announced a strategic collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, to launch a research initiative titled “Falling Risk Assessment and Personalized Rehabilitation Program for Older Adults.”
The program focuses on assessing fall risks and developing personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to each individual.
The initiative aims to achieve at least a 10% improvement in the Active Aging Index (AAI) within six months through a comprehensive, integrated three-dimensional care model:
Clinical Assessment: Comprehensive health evaluations conducted by medical professionals
Onsite Rehabilitation: Multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs
Home Follow-up: Continuous monitoring and care support at home
This approach is designed to promote active aging by reducing fall risks while enhancing physical strength, balance, mental well-being, and social engagement among older adults.
Dr. Gengpong Tangarunsanti stated:
“We aim to shift from treatment to prediction, prevention, and personalized rehabilitation design to sustainably improve the quality of life for older adults.”
This initiative represents a significant step toward decentralized healthcare and community-based rehabilitation, supporting Thailand’s ambition to become a leading hub for elderly care in Asia.
