Signing Ceremony for a Strategic Partnership to Enhance Caregiver Skills in Long-Term Care and Elevate the Quality of Elderly Care in Thailand

Bangkok Chersery Home International Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, together with the Thai Caregiver School Association and Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony to jointly develop knowledge, curriculum, and professional competencies for caregivers, with a strong focus on high-quality, standardized Long-Term Care that aligns with the needs of Thailands rapidly aging society.

This collaboration aims to strengthen the skills and capacity of caregivers through a holistic approachcovering medical, rehabilitative, nursing, psychological, social, and ethical dimensionsto cultivate professional caregivers equipped with knowledge, practical skills, and compassion, enabling them to care for older adults with dignity and humanity.

Under this partnership, the three organizations will jointly:

  • Develop and enhance curricula for elderly and dependent care in the long-term care system
  • Promote practical and experiential learning based on real-life care scenarios
  • Advance professional standards for caregivers in alignment with Thai context and international benchmarks
  • Create sustainable and stable career pathways within the growing Silver Economy
