Chersery Home & Chula Win Global Research Award, Elevating Super Food

Stepping forward on the global research stage, the research team from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, together with Chersery Home International, has been honored with the 2025 Award of Distinction from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation for their contributions to promoting health innovation and transferring innovation in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.

This achievement includes the development of a health product recognized at the international level, which is currently registered as a health food. With further research, this product can be advanced to the category of therapeutic drugs. The next phase of the study aims to extend this superfood innovation into practical applications for the general public, particularly for individuals with NCDs, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, older adults, and those seeking to rebalance their gut microbiota. This will help create a new health economy for Thailand, enabling competitiveness on the global stage, while providing a model for researchers to translate internationally recognized research outcomes into practice and gain acceptance in both domestic and international markets.
